SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it is actually alarmed about the large variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior SRD amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The provider place made for intervention ordeals a large inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all clients and maximize usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
